Free to use
Converter Toolkit is free for personal and commercial use. No signup, no payment, no rate limits. You may link to specific conversion pages from your own site or documentation. No special permission is required.
Provided as-is
The conversion factors come from internationally-defined constants — the BIPM kilogram-pound relationship and the NIST inch-centimeter relationship, which haven't changed since 1959. We display answers using those exact constants.
That said, the service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We make every effort to be accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every page will always be available, error-free, or suitable for your specific use. For situations where the conversion matters — medical dosing, legal contracts, structural engineering, financial calculations, regulatory submissions — verify the result with a second authoritative source.
Limitation of liability
The maintainers of Converter Toolkit are not liable for damages arising from use of the site, including but not limited to: incorrect calculations resulting from user error, business losses, downtime, or any indirect or consequential damages. By using the site you accept this limitation.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it abusively, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Automated bulk requests at excessive rates will be rate-limited by Cloudflare. Reasonable, normal use — including search engine crawlers — is always welcome.
Content ownership
The page layouts, written explanations, FAQ answers, and design are the original work of the Converter Toolkit project. The conversion factors themselves are scientific facts in the public domain — no one owns the number 0.45359237. You may reuse the conversion data freely; the page presentations are copyrighted.
Changes
These terms may change. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
